A to Z Family Dinner Cooking Class

Time: 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Price: Children under 5 are free. Children between the ages of 5 and 16 are $25 per child. Adults are $40 per person.
Ages: All ages are welcome. only ONE spot left!
Parents: This is a family event; please note that caretakers must accompany their children to the event. Please ensure that everyone in your family wears closed-toe shoes and has their hair up (if it is long). You may bring a to-go container to take some leftovers home with you.

At Apples to Zucchini Cooking School, we believe that sharing family dinners every week is an integral part of a child's development. Working together with meal planning and cooking in the kitchen is where relationships are built and strengthened across generations. Cooking together is not only a way to model nutritious food choices and build self-esteem, but it is also just plain fun! We will supervise you each time with a new recipe. 
Parents and children will be cooking the AtoZ recipe of the week, as well as an additional side dish, to ensure it is a complete meal. Everyone will prep and cook together, under the guidance of one of our educators. We will then set the table and eat together. Setting the table properly, discussing table manners, and enjoying a meal together are primordial to AtoZ. The class ends with parents, children, and educators washing the dishes together. Discover ways you can involve children of all ages in family cooking, and come cook together and eat together!
